Nisa Whitehouse Common Post Office are donating a fantastic £500 to their local primary school to thank them for their custom and continued support.

The post office in Sutton Coldfield has raised the money for Whitehouse Common Primary School through Nisa’s charity Making A Difference Locally (MADL), where customers buy specific products in store and a percentage of the money goes towards a chosen charity.

Jas Mtharu, owner of the post office, said: “We are really pleased that we are able to help local, worthy causes which will make a difference to our community.

“We chose to put the proceeds towards the school because the school is at the core of our community and a lot of parents, teachers and pupils frequently use the store- it is our way of thanking them for the continued support they have shown us.

“It’s important to be at the heart of the community and MADL is the perfect way to do so because along with the customers, we get to choose which charity or good cause we can donate the money to.”
