Ditchingham Stores Making a Difference Locally

Published on 07 December 2015

Ditchingham Stores in Bungay is supporting their local primary school this month with a generous donation of £1,400. The store, located on Loddon Road in Ditchingham, donated the money to Ditchingham Primary school through Nisa’s Making a Difference Locally charity to benefit children in the local area.

The donation will be used towards the construction of an outside play area for the pupils at the school. The money was raised through Nisa’s Making A Difference Locally charity, from customers purchasing items from the own-label Heritage range and a number of branded products in store. A percentage of the sale cost of these items then goes into a virtual fund to be donated to local charities and good causes of the store owners’ choice.

The store owner, Rajvinder Thandi, said of the store’s donation: “We always try to pick a local cause which will benefit greatly from the donation, and we could not think of any better way than helping our village primary school who we have supported on previous occasions too. We have been donating through MADL for quite a while now and have donated to a number of local good causes. Ditchingham Stores is a family run store in a very close community so we are glad we can give something back through Making a Difference Locally.”
