Nisa retailers have caught the community bug

Nisa Retail has launched a charity campaign to encourage its members to engage with the community even more by taking part in the new Making A Difference Locally (MADL) bug competition in order to raise more money for charity and awareness of the MADL charity.

Retailers are encouraged to spread the community bug (named Morris) by taking a picture of it at the most unusual place, and 10 lucky winners will be awarded with £200 each to put in their MADL virtual pot.

Kate Carroll, MADL brand manager, said: “Morris the community bug will remind Nisa members that they are at the heart of the community. Our retailers’ MADL fund pot is growing daily with the sale of specific products in store, so it’s important the money is put to use.”

The charity which has raised nearly £6 million for charities and good causes, helps Nisa stores to raise money and donate to local charities and good causes of their choice. This is done through the sale of certain products in store, including all of Nisa’s own-label Heritage range.
