Nisa Local makes a difference

Published on 13 October 2014

Children will be able to get active and enjoy new playground equipment at a school in Little Dawley thanks to a Nisa Local store donating £1,000 towards it.

The nearby store on Holly Road raised the funds for Captain Webb Primary School through Nisa’s charity Making A Difference Locally. Customers are encouraged to keep shopping at the independent store as the sale of specific products amounts up into a fund pot to be spent on a local charity or good cause.

Peter Manning, store owner, said: “We are thrilled the money will be put towards such a good use, and what better way for youngsters to benefit and enjoy it. We give something back to the community because I think it’s important we reward customers for shopping in-store.

“I cannot wait for the Making A Difference Locally funds to keep adding up, so we can keep donating and making a difference to the community which my store is at the heart of.”
