Donation from Nisa store “has certainly made a difference” to local primary school

Published on 19 July 2017

A Courthouse Green convenience store has supported Courthouse Green Primary School this month to help fund new play equipment for the school children. The Nisa Local on Bell Green Road donated £1,000 to the primary school through Nisa’s Making a Difference Locally charity, towards a new climbing frame for the children to use during break times.

Lesley Slater, Business Manager for Courthouse Green Primary School, commented: “Making a Difference Locally has certainly made a difference to Courthouse Green Primary School. We have just purchased a lovely new climbing frame for the field, and following the kind donation by the Nisa Local store, our school funds have now been topped up again and we will soon be able to purchase the second climbing frame that we need so that all the children have something to play on at break and lunchtimes.

“The climbing frames are the first thing that the children make for when they are outside and there is always a queue of children keen to get on. The frames are important as they keep them fit and assist with development of motor skills. Thank you so much Nisa!”
